Coach Jarrett Campbell - Empowering Young Athletes Through Experience and Passion

About Coach Jarrett:
Born and raised in the heart of Corpus Christi, Texas, Coach Jarrett Campbell's deep roots in the local baseball community run strong. His journey began on the fields of Calallen High School, where he established himself as a dominant force. As a senior in 1998, Jarrett led his team to the pinnacle of Texas high school baseball, culminating in a remarkable run to the 4A State Championship game, where they finished as runners-up. His outstanding performance that year solidified his place among the state's elite, boasting an impressive 16-3 record with a stellar 1.75 ERA over 111 2/3 innings, while striking out an astounding 164 batters. His exceptional talent earned him numerous accolades, including First Team All-District, First Team All-South Texas, First Team All-State, and Third Team All-American honors.
This remarkable high school career paved the way for a professional dream realized when he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays shortly after graduation. Coach Jarrett went on to spend seven seasons competing at the highest levels of professional baseball, gaining invaluable experience with the Rays, Marlins, and Diamondbacks organizations. Over his professional career, he pitched a total of 409 innings, accumulating a 22-21 win-loss record with a respectable 3.89 ERA, and recording 361 strikeouts against just 114 walks.
Beyond his impressive playing career, Coach Jarrett is a dedicated family man. He has been happily married to Liana Campbell for 24 years and is the proud father of two children, Adelyn and Jaxen. His commitment to his family mirrors his dedication to the young athletes he coaches.
Today, Coach Jarrett continues to reside in his beloved Corpus Christi, where his passion for the game now fuels his commitment to coaching the TX Hustle. He brings a unique blend of high-level playing experience, local knowledge, and a genuine desire to mentor young players, helping them develop their skills, build character, and achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
